What is this Thing?

I've been thinking about this blog for a while but never put it together until now.  Right now you are thinking "what the hell is a 'blog'?"  A blog is a stupid internet word that takes the two syllable word "Web-Log", which is like a log or journal that you keep on the internet, and shortens it into a one syllable word "Blog" (it's 2009, who has time to say a two syllable made-up word when you can shorten it to a one syllable made-up word?).  Anyway, this could be a good way for a family that is spread all over Michigan, Ohio, and Florida to keep in touch.

This is the Iseler Blog, which is intended to be a community blog for the Ken and Esther Iseler family.  The way it works is, if you are part of the Ken and Esther Iseler family and you have something that you would like to share with the rest of the clan you can post it here.

Why would I post something?
Lets say you have something you would like to share, a picture of your kids, house, soccer game, or garden.  A story, good news, bad news, if you want to get rid of tickets to a sporting event, if one of your kids gets a prom date or hits a home run in T-ball, or you have wedding plans you would like to share....  Whatever you feel like posting, you can put it here.

How to post:
First you need to log in.  I am forwarding everyone the login and password.  Once you are logged on go to "New Post" and start typing....  If you want to post a picture click on the blue icon on the toolbar that looks like a landscape and says "add images" when you hold the cursor over it.  It might take some time to get use to, but I can always help if you need it.  When you are done with your post you hit "publish post" and you are done.  It's not very hard to figure out.  Also, don't forget to sign your name.
